Welcome to this cozy authentic log cabin nestled inside the beautiful Smoky Mountains! This cozy retreat is perfect for a peaceful getaway, offering both comfort and convenience to local attractions. Our past guests have loved this location and us as hosts! See our past reviews! This cabin is our first small business venture. We have poured our hearts, sweat and tears into it. It’s our hope that you will love it as we do! The space Key Features: -Handcrafted king-size log bed and queen-size sleeper sofa -Park-style charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal and aluminum foil) -High-speed WiFi and SMART TV's (bring your own subscriptions for Netflix or Roku) -Electric fireplace inside -4 person hot tub with projector for outdoor viewing -Fire pit outdoor (propane tank) -High end light up outdoor swings -Both downstairs and upstairs areas have 50inch TVs The fire pit is not guaranteed to be available during your stay. It will only be open when there is not a current fire ban in the smokies. Scheduled fire ban is from October 15 through May 15 every year. Depending on dryness in the area, there may be more fire bans in place during your stay. We also ask that if propane tank runs dry that you exchange it at gas station and we will then reimburse you! Travel Insurance Highly Recommended: We strongly advise purchasing travel insurance as there will be no refunds for weather, natural disasters, power outages, personal matters, or other events beyond our control. Protect your trip by securing travel insurance offered at booking.
The hot tub is for guests aged 21 and over. Alcohol and pets are prohibited near the hot tub. Do not use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or are pregnant. Use the hot tub at your own risk. The hot tub takes up to 8 hours to heat up. Depending on the cleaning schedule, it may not be hot upon arrival.
No early check-in or late check-out is permitted. Guests must vacate the property by 10 AM on their departure day. A fee of $50 will be charged for the first half-hour and $100 for each subsequent half-hour if the property is not vacated on time.
We provide starter supplies of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, sponge, dishwasher tabs, laundry detergent packet, one roll of paper towels, liquid dish soap, and two rolls of toilet paper per full bathroom. Depending on your stay length, you may need to bring additional supplies. Charcoal: We do not provide charcoal for the grill. This is available at nearby locations on your drive in.
During fall and winter, ladybugs and stink bugs are common, and in summer, palmetto bugs and carpenter bees may be present. These insects are attracted to warmth and may be found in the cabin despite regular pest control and professional cleaning. Unfortunately, they return quickly, and there is little that can be done until the season passes.
An exterior camera monitors the driveway of the property for security purposes only. There are no recording devices inside the cabin or around the hot tub area.
Our property is located in a beautiful, natural setting, which means you may encounter local wildlife, including bears. It's important to be aware of safety guidelines: Do not leave food or trash outside. Bears are attracted to food smells, so store all items securely. Be cautious during dawn and dusk, when bears are more active. Keep a safe distance if you do see a bear. Never approach or feed them. Make noise while hiking or moving around the property to avoid surprising a bear.
A small upright cabinet is labeled owner's closet and is not accessible to guests.
